Very Berry Acai Granola Bowl

Man, oh man, has it been a while since my last acai bowl (I’m going to go ahead and blame it on this chilly weather). Luckily, whipping one up isn’t a skill easily forgotten (or hard to re-learn, for that matter)!

I usually have majority of the ingredients on hand to make an acai bowl, so when the mood strikes (as it did this morning), I can easily make one on the fly. This week, I decided to give my acai bowl a twist, with a topping of granola and greek yogurt. Super satisfying and oh-so-yummy! Give it a try for yourself and let me know what you think!

Very Berry Acai Granola Bowl

1 frozen acai packet

3/4 cup frozen mixed berries 

3/4 cup water 

Large spoonful of Greek yogurt (I used strawberry)

1/4 cup Granola 

8-10 Blueberries

8-10 Blackberries

Sprinkle of Cocoa nibs 

Blend together the frozen acai, mixed berries and water until smooth (check out tips for the blending the best acai bowl here). Pour the mixture into your bowl, top with greek yogurt, granola, blueberries, blackberries and some of those cocoa nibs. And that’s it! Gotta love a breakfast that quick, healthy and delicious!
