Blueberry Melon Smoothie
One of my favorite holiday hostess tips is this: cut up a huge bowl of fruit, and throw together a gigantic salad for guests before their arrival. If your friends and family get hungry between meals, or simply want a healthier side dish alternative, they can turn to these easy-to-prep and good-for-you options. This year, we cut up a ton of fresh cantaloupe, pineapple and blueberries and made a basic salad with mixed greens, tomatoes and cheese. I had a bit of fruit left over, which meant I could use it for smoothies this week or (bonus!) freeze for smoothies later.
For lunch today I was in a bit of a rush, and decided to whip up a smoothie (go figure). I simply threw together the ingredients I had on hand, and was happily surprised with the results. So much so that I figured I would share! The combo is not something I would usually put together, but in a smoothie especially, the flavor combination is fantastic!

Blueberry Melon Smoothie
1/3 cup Blueberries
1/2 cup Pineapple
1/2 cup Cantaloupe
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup Water
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
