Berry Orange Smoothie

Some of my yummiest creations are just that – creations. Before heading to the grocery store last night, my fridge was slim pickin’s. Thankfully, I try my hardest to always have ingredients on hand for a smoothie. When I need to use produce up quickly (especially if I think I won’t be able to eat it all before it goes bad), I freeze it, knowing it will be put to good use at some point. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to make with frozen grapes, but they certainly turned out to be a great addition to this Berry Orange Smoothie!

Berry Orange Smoothie

1/2 cup Frozen grapes
1/2 cup Frozen mixed berries
1 large handful Spinach
2 Mandarin oranges, peeled and seedless
1 tbsp Chia seeds
1 cup Water

Add all ingredients to your blender and mix that bad boy up!

P.S. If you don’t have frozen grapes readily on hand (let’s be real, who does? I’m a freak), you can use fresh grapes as well. Just add less water to make sure your smoothie doesn’t accidentally turn into a juice.
