Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

You asked and you shall receive! Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats are here and they are a winner. I will definitely be making these before early morning training sessions, when I need something I can simply grab when walking out the door (when my eyes are still barely open and a cup of coffee is all I can think about).

Overnight Oats recipes are some of my favorite meals to take on-the-go, especially because you can make them in batches at a time, allowing you to have breakfast ready throughout the week. Plus, they take under 5 minutes to make! Overnight Oats are super filling, healthy, delicious and require very little clean up – which is always a win in my book.

Give them a shot and let me know what you think!

Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

Prep Time 5 minutes
Rest in Fridge Overnight or for 4 hours
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 1 person

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Uncooked Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 Banana 1/2 mashed, 1/2 sliced
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries 4-6 medium

Instructions

  1. Add all of ingredients into a jar and shake the mixture up until well incorporated.

  2. Leave the overnight oats in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (ideally allowing them to sit overnight if you are eating them for breakfast).

  3. You can eat them straight out of the jar (the perfect to-go meal!) or pour into a bowl and enjoy!

You can make this recipe dairy free and vegan by replacing the milk and greek yogurt with almond or coconut milk and cashew or almond yogurt. You can also omit the greek yogurt altogether (you’ll just end up getting a slightly less thick version of these overnight oats, but still just as yummy). Note: if you are strict vegan looking to omit the honey, swap out with maple syrup!

Obviously, this recipe is very versatile. I love it for that exact reason. Make one of the dairy free or vegan versions above, or play around with the fruit you use in the recipe. I have other overnight oats recipes you can find here, but all of them use the same base. Play around with the recipe using the fruit you have on hand and see what you can create!
